Epic and Stellar Boats – Stability Rating, Price &Weight
- The chart above is simply intended to give a general view on the stability of the different surfskis we sell. It is based on both our experience paddling most of the boats and the general consensus within the surfski community.
- The chart assumes that all boats are an equivalent layup/weight. In all boats the lighter layups will be faster, more reactive, and feel less stable.
- The chart is not intended to address the speed of the different boats. This will vary considerably based on the skill of the paddler
- We do not have a separate page for each of the kayaks offered by Epic and Stellar and do not currently stock many of these, but we can order them so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you are interested
- We love to meet our customers face to face and provide them the opportunity to demo as many boats as possible, but if you can’t make it to see us, and know for certain the boat you want, we can often arrange for direct delivery at a reasonable cost
- We are equipped to take credit card payments but there will be a $50 surcharge on boats
- We add a $100 dollar delivery fee to boat sales in order to help offset the cost of getting these boats shipped into the Midwest.
