Oscar Chalupsky Returns to Northern Michigan – Single Day 3 Hour Clinic on Sunday June 4th 1:00
Oscar Chalupsky is joining us this year for the 5th Annual TC SURFSKI Immersion. The Immersion is now sold out, but Oscar has agreed to offer an additional single day clinic on Sunday June 4th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM
At 54 years old, Oscar is still racing very competitively and aiming for a 13th victory at the iconic Molokai Challenge which will take place exactly one week before this clinic. This is an amazing opportunity to learn from the greatest big ocean paddler of all time. Not only is Oscar a phenomenal paddler, he is an excellent coach.
If there is wind and waves, we’ll plan to host the clinic in an area that offers both flat water and waves so that students can get flat water instruction as well as a chance to ride in the back of a tandem with Oscar and learn first hand how the master navigates the waves.
This is an excellent opportunity for any M22 Racers who want to hone their technique and significantly increase power and speed in the boat

- What to expect: Dry land instruction and use of the Ivan Lawler Slider training device, followed by time on the water and tandem rides with Oscar
- What to bring: Bring you boat, paddle, and PFD. Kayaks are welcome, and surfskis are available for rent
Additionally we will have a new type of technique simulator called the Lawler Trainer. This is by far the best simulator for coaching technique, far better than a traditional ERG to teach and embed the concept of pulling the body past the paddle
We will also have some new Nelo boats available for demo including the Nelo 520, 550, and Nelo 600 tandem
