A Group Paddle For Everyone!
This year there is not excuse not to get your bum in a surfski. If you own one, grab it, rack it, and come join us. If you don’t own one, let us know your interested and come join us! We have three different paddle experiences on three different nights of the week, all summer long.
Wednesday Night TC Paddle
This paddle will be organized by Ryan Deering. The group will meet in the Hagerty Parking Lot and go out for a 4-6 mile paddle on West Bay. All levels welcome. The paddle route will be based on wind conditions. There is very likely to be beers afterward at the Workshop or somewhere else in downtown TC
Thursday Night – North Lake Leelanau Social Hour
This will be a girls night (and maybe some lucky guys) paddle on North Lake Leelanau. A social paddle in generally calm and warm waters. Potential drinks afterwards. Great opportunity to try out a surfski in a safe and friendly environment
Friday Night Leland – The Golden Hour
This paddle will be off of South Beach in Leland. Expect some waves more often than not, but it will be fun and safe. We will most likely just do out and back paddles with a goal of learning to surf . With the out and back approach there is no need to show up right on time, just get there when you can. We’ll try to have the tandem available to demonstrate and share the surfing experience when the waves are up. Bring snacks and drinks to enjoy on the beach after paddling as the sun sets.
