With winter quickly fading and the inland waters starting to open up, there has been a definite uptick of interest from those looking to get into a surfski this summer. Among the positives from COVID-19, has been the increased interest in outdoor recreation. Bikes and boats were hard to come by last season, and the trend appears to be continuing through this year. I wanted to share a list of the boats I currently have in inventory (both used and new) as well as what I have coming from Epic Kayaks in the May timeframe.

Nelo 550 WWR / $2,795 / 28 lbs (Used)
The Nelo 550 is an intermediate level surfski. This one is lightly used so has been marked down $700 off retail. At 18 feet long the Nelo 550 is a nimble boat that offers good stability for an intermediate paddler and is an absolute blast to paddle in waves. This boat would be an excellent downwind boat for an experienced surfski paddler. It would also work well for a young and ambitious beginner, or a strong athlete who will focus primarily on flat water.
Epic V10L 2nd Gen Performance / $1,895 / 34 lbs (Used)
This surfski is an amazing deal for the right paddler. It has less than 10 hours on the water and is almost 1/2 the price of a new one. This is an advanced surfski designed for a smaller paddler (less than 165 lbs ). It would make an excellent boat for an athletic female paddling flat water or a teenager up for a good challenge.

The V5 Rotomolded Surfski is an awesome entry level boat. At 14 feet in length it is very manageable, and yet is capable of handing virtually all conditions. This boat is heavy for a surfski, but incredibly durable. An excellent boat for the entire family to enjoy on the water and much safer than a traditional kayak.

Same as above, but 8 pounds lighter and even that much easier to put on your car, carry to the water, and put away in your garage after a long day of paddling
Epic V8 Ultra / $4,395 / 27 lbs / Qty 1
Same as above, but lighter. 8 pounds may not seem like a lot, but if you can afford it, you won’t regret it. The V8 Ultra is an absolute dream boat
